Satria Neo

So I have been driving this car for some time right now. I’ve been paying the bank for almost a quarter. Ah, which reminds me the payment due is up! Have to bank in some molahhs in soon.
There is quite a lot of things to like about this car. Firstly, proton manage to cheat me by taking out 2 doors out of the normal 4 door car, and charge me about the same price. How can they do that! I feel cheated already.
But chicks dig it you see. They become exclusive in my ride. I can only fetch one person at any one time…. Not so true, until maybe, maybe I start moving a big huge amp, some kick ass speakers, an Apple TV. For now, the stock speakers and player will make do. Well, not great, but okay. I’ve got my iPod FM transmitter transmitting at 88.80FM. So, if you happen to past by my car, you might be able to listen to what I am listening by tuning in. Kick ass body combat songs – maybe.
My rim is sleek! 5 big spokes. And it’s round. May be because my tyres are round. Wonder how long it will stay round since it is just 40 off the ground. Damn, it is nice.
Fuel consumption is decent. Average clocking between 7.0 litres to 8.0 litres per 100km. Translate to an average about 430KM to 450KM per RM75 full tank. Yeah, burn baby burn. My pocket hole that is!
The handling on this car is nice. Take my comment with a grain of salt though, cos I was driving a Kancil prior to this car. Any car is better at handling than a kancil. Oh, believe me!
Overall, the experience has been OKAYLAH. Missing some small convinient driving experience for my liking. You will think Auto Locking on doors are default accessories if you were to pay RM51800 for the car. Even the Kelisa has it. No, I’ve got to spend RM60 bucks to do it! Wonder if that void the warranty…. So now, when I press on the break paddle, the car will auto lock. And when I off the engine, the lock will gracefully pop up to allow me out.
What disturbs me is that Proton think that we are stupid enough to believe that the not so working seat belt was a feature. Saying that the red light indicator on the dash board which appears merely 3 seconds was a reminder to put on our seat belts. What an arse. They did not put in the belt mechanism which indicate if the seat belt is fasten. Available only in the export cars. Disturbing isn’t it? Oh, yeah… safety features like auto hazard light on when your cars engine running when you open the door. You probably won’t see it in the Malaysian version. We are second grade to their export market.
Okay, enough bitching.
What’s missing. Some body kit… wait, i mean.. some more moolahs…
ahhh… that will do.
MTV, my plea.. PIMP my ride, will you. I’ll jump in front of the camera, like those US dudes does when you show up my door step. I will act excited. I will be excited. I’ll shade some tears…. if you promise to do everything in my list….
