Body Combat #34

Posted by jon | Posted in Daily, Gym | Posted on 12-12-2007

It sucks to be sleeping in without knowing track 10 at finger tip. The class is at 8:30 am tomorrow.

Even so, track 1 to 9 are pretty much in the head kinda thing. I kinda feel not comfortable teaching the new release. I get that a lot. I get that every new releases. The first week.

Perhaps, if I change the way I work, it feels better.

It’s doable. It is about prioritizing jobs. It is about time managing, optimising the way I work. No excuses.

Oh shucks. Let’s just do my version of combat 34 tomorrow. muaahahaha..

okay, I am kidding…

oh maybe not….

Maybe I should introduce new move, and call it flying kick. Oh, how original the name. Maybe, maybe the flying kick involve the shoe being untied, loosen, and when you jump, the shoe flies toward the member opponent. Hence, the word “flying” kick.

On my left shoulder, the white angel jon saying…

“Ah, shut dup and kickkkkkkk already jon. It’s like 1:27 am. You should be sleeping… wake up a little earlier tomorrow, get to the gym and practise”

On my right shoulder, sits the ugly fat jon with a cigar in his mouth and she says …

“To hell with it, just do the flying kick. It beats the hell of watching the dvd again. Makes you sleepy anyway…. ”

Shut dup and drive…….

gnite..

Travel Photography

Posted by jon | Posted in Daily | Posted on 29-11-2007

I am probably one of those very highly superbly efficient blogger. Oh yes. I’ve got this thing that I wanted to write in November. The only thing wrong about it was, an article which should have been written November 2006.

I’ve been photographing a lot of wedding recently. It felt like ages ago, since I came back from Hong Kong . Travel photography is probably a hobby of mine, that will never die out. I wasn’t a travel bug until photography played such a big role in my life. I’ve been hooked since.

One of those things, when I recall, was my trip to Taiwan & Hong Kong in September 2006 - which it was kinda special for me. The travel was all paid for and the photography works were published on one of the local magazine here.

This is the cover of ifeel magazine for November 2006 issue.  Probably one of my first work printed on a commercial magazine.

Our model was Goh Yen Yen, the winner for the ifeel girl search in 2006. She was on tour together with us for the article. We were shooting portraiture in the busy streets of Taipei before we head out for our busy travel schedule.

It has my name on it! :) weeeeeee

The whole trip was all put together with 4 pages of full fashion spread and 2 pages of article on Taipei.

So, the deal is….

I miss traveling already. My last Hong Kong trip felt like it happened 6 years ago already! I should be planning my 2008 calendar. Travel buddy, travel location anybody?

The one where I wake up…

Posted by jon | Posted in Daily | Posted on 24-11-2007

feeling all lousy…

Yes… it was Friday. The day when the alarm clock rang at 545am when I need to wake up for a class. Considering I’ve been doing it for the past 1/2 a year, today exceptionally difficult, as I felt uneasy, not wanting to wake up. I was having a fever.

I last through the day. At times, I felt so tired, and I was clinging on the adrenaline rush in my system to pull me through. Often than not, these are the times I feel I teach the class better.

Weird how things are. Maybe it’s just me.

The fever is gone, the cough stays. My body felt like as though it went through hell. Thankfully, Saturday & Sunday are not teaching days for me. Oh wait, but I guess I need to be learning up my new tracks. Not to mention the countless photos on my plate.

The grass is always greener on the other side…..

Don’t worry. I just wanting to rant. It’s 3am and I cannot sleep.
