So, some of us have seen the Hello I am mac and I am a PC advert. Yeah, I know, seen it, done that.

However, this one is rather unique. You see, it was run over at CNet’s Vista page previously. Some odd reason, I couldn’t see the video, but here is the youtube version of it.

So, my guessing game. Let’s see how well I read the tea leaves.

1. Same fullscreen ipod , ala iphone. - Correcto. It’s call iPod Touch
2. Multitouch interface running a version of OS X. - As reported to be the same as iPhone
3. 100GB / 120GB Hardisk base. - The rebranded ipod now known as ipod Classics starts at 80GB base model , and a whooping 160GB
4. Wifi (this one maybe - quite a doubt). -Oh yes, wifi, safari integreated.

So, 3 out of 4. Pretty good ei :).

So, the biggest announcement was of cos the iPod Touch. A lot like the iPhone, without the iPhone. Pricing at USD$299 for 8GB and USD$399 for the 16GB version. Dissapointed that it only comes as large as 16GB. I’ve got like 25GB on my iPod all used up!

Ipod Nano as previously rumored was true. Fat Boy Slim. Fat and thin.

The Shuffle get a refresh on colors, and that is pretty much it on the hardware side.

A couple of other announcements does not really concern us Malaysian much, so I rather not blog about them.

When will these be available? It’s already out from the factory and available in the US this weekend. I reckon, a month before we see it surface here in Malaysia? Thats about how long before the new iMacs were brought in. Or was it less than a month?

An apple event announced. The rumor mills spins like crazy. As reported by Gearlive . They have a couple of images sent via anonymous source that this is the 3rd Generation of iPod Nano.

I say, Apple will also release a new space shuttle call iShuttle to fly to mars too. Just so, I can start a rumor too :). heheh.

Quite sleek I think. Reminds me of Fat Boy Slim.
